Genotype selection of triticale for growing in Southern Brazil

Abstract

The evaluation and selection of genotypes of triticale in distinct environments in Southern Brazil is necessary to identify those that had greater stability and adaptability of grain production. Based on results, high diversity between environments allowed the expression grain yield potential of distinct genotypes. Genotypes BRS 203, BRS 148, Embrapa 53, CEP 28 – Guará, Triticale BR 4, IAPAR 23 – Arapoti and IAPAR 54-OCEPAR 4 presented high yield, with a regression coefficient equal to the unit (bi=1,0) and variance of deviations equal to zero (s2d@ 0), being considered the most stable for grain yield performance. Triticale BR 1 was the least stable genotype.
